How does a real estate tip work?

Do you know someone who wants to sell their house, apartment or property, or have you heard that a property is about to change hands? Give us a tip!

As a thank you for recommending a property that is unknown to us and has not yet been advertised publicly, you will receive a bonus of 10% of the buyer’s commission if we successfully broker it.

You must explicitly agree on this bonus, also known as the tipster commission, when you announce the recommendation and after checking it, we will confirm the tip in writing. If you only show us your tip or the commission claim after you have brokered a property and we had no knowledge of it when the brokerage contract was concluded, we cannot take your tip into account.

You can also receive a tipper commission for recommendations from our company to someone who wants to sell their property. Here too, it is important that you contact us before the property owner does so. Otherwise we already know the property and you are not entitled to a bonus.

Which objects or people can be recommended?

In principle, you can recommend any property (apartment/house/land) that is for sale or is about to be sold. The owner may also be known or related to you. However, we do not reward tips for your own property or that of your partner.

Conditions:

• We must not yet know the property or the owner’s intention to sell.
• The property has not yet been publicly advertised for sale (newspaper, internet portals, etc.).
• The property is located in Migori or within a radius of approximately 30 km outside the city.
• Legal recourse is excluded.

How do you know that a house or apartment is for sale?

In the simplest case, friends, acquaintances or neighbors tell you about the intention to sell or you find out about the planned sale from someone else. However, there are other signs that a sale may be imminent:

• The house or apartment appears to have been uninhabited for a long time.
• For example, the windows have no curtains etc.
• The mailbox is rarely emptied.

What happens after your tip?

First, we check whether we already know the property you recommended or whether it has already been published. If not, we will confirm your tip in writing. In the next step, we will contact the owner without naming you as the source – unless you want us to refer to you. We will inform you when a placement order is concluded. Then the marketing phase begins. As soon as we have successfully brokered the property, you will receive your bonus: 10% of the buyer’s commission.

How is payment for the tip regulated?

We will note you as a tipster. If successful, you will receive the agreed bonus.
